Marine Salvage Lights
Ships lamps have a unique style : minimal, functional, quality and chunky. These ones are chunky for sure, so much so that the pick axe marks are on the brass where the ice from the north pacific has been chipped off. Dating from about the 1950s these are going to be very rare soon, as since the time of these, ship building has had the age of stainless steel and aluminium and now plastics. Not the thing to be bashing with an ice axe!
These solid brass Korean ones weigh in at a healthy 2kg each and the rewired Japanese steel and brass table lamp 3kg.
They make great lamps for indoor and out. Some can also be made into table lamps.
